We have a green beating heart at DiBO. Green, the colour of our machines, symbolises the energy-saving and environmentally aware way in which we at DiBO develop, produce and do business along with a heart for people and nature. DiBO is continuing on this green path with the installation of eight charging points for electric vehicles (EVs)) and 318 solar panels.
Solar panels: a direct investment in a better environment
Solar power is free, clean, safe and inexhaustible, making it the ideal source of energy. This is why we at DiBO have also deliberately opted to invest in a solar power energy system.
At the start of March 318 photovoltaic (PV) solar panels were installed in the east/west direction on the roof of the new building. This east/west orientation ensures a better spread of production throughout the day. The installation starts producing a little earlier, continues for a little longer, and the midday peak when our people and machines are taking a lunch break is moderated.
In good weather the solar panels will even ensure that we are fully self-supporting in supplying energy for the whole company! The installation of our solar panels also means CO2 emissions are reduced by 20.01 tons on an annual basis.
Ready to drive electric
Eight charging points for electric vehicles (EVs) have also been installed on our company premises. We are not only doing this as a favour for electric drivers, as a company we are also contributing to the target of an emission-free world.
