Tank cleaning
Nowadays a tank cleaning site, as we call the place where the interior of tanks is cleaned, has to meet very strict European directives before they can present the ECD (European Cleaning Document). The ECD was developed by EFTCO, ECTA and Cefic with the purpose of fulfilling the needs of tank cleaning companies, transport companies and the chemical industry. The ownership and the exclusive copyright of the European Cleaning Document are held by EFTCO.
This directive was prescribed by the SQAS (Safety and Quality Assessment System), a European system directed by the chemical industry and which assures the directives concerning quality control, environmental safety and public health. Tank cleaning is part of this and the directives which have to be met are not the slightest.
Specific norms and conditions
DiBO has followed and has adapted all of her tank cleaning installations in order to meet the directives and to be able to meet all of the required norms and conditions. This way DiBO can present the ECD document. In the DiBO tank cleaning installations, the entire cleaning process is checked in a fully automated way: from the moment when the driver presents itself to the delivery of the document.
